Abstract

Artikel ini membahas ruqyah syar’iyyah sebagai praktik pengobatan spiritual dalam Islam yang berperan dalam mendukung kesehatan fisik dan mental. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk menjelaskan landasan normatif ruqyah syar’iyyah serta efek psikospiritual dan fisiknya dalam konteks kesehatan jiwa-raga. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka, artikel ini menganalisis literatur terkait ruqyah, termasuk teori dasar dan penelitian terkini. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ruqyah syar’iyyah berfungsi sebagai religious coping yang membantu mengelola stres, mengurangi kecemasan, serta meningkatkan ketenangan batin, yang pada gilirannya memperbaiki kualitas tidur dan menurunkan ketegangan fisik. Selain itu, praktik ini mendukung perilaku sehat dan memfasilitasi perawatan medis konvensional. Namun, penting untuk menegaskan bahwa ruqyah tidak dapat menggantikan pengobatan medis, tetapi berfungsi sebagai terapi komplementer. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi ilmiah dengan menekankan urgensi ruqyah sebagai amalan harian yang sah dalam kerangka kesehatan jiwa-raga, serta pentingnya integrasi spiritual dan medis dalam pengobatan.
