Abstract

The use of information systems to support organizational performance is increasingly needed. Supported by sophisticated information technology, it has enabled the development of increasingly reliable information systems. Information is a crucial resource in modern management. Many strategic decisions depend on it. The Southwest Sumba Regional Office is an institution with a large number of employees. Data regarding personnel is already in a database with a desktop-based Employee System (SIMPEG) application program. However, this application still has shortcomings. Therefore, a concept for processing employee data with data processing features is needed. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been conducted, several conclusions were obtained, including the existence of a web-based Personnel Information System at the Southwest Sumba Regional Office, which facilitates the office's management of all personnel data
