Abstract

The Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR) is a strategic institution in the implementation of infrastructure development, spatial planning, and basic public services such as the provision of drinking water, sanitation, and other regional infrastructure. One of the implementing technical units under the coordination of the PUPR Agency is the Regional Technical Implementation Unit for Drinking Water Supply Systems (UPTD SPAM), which plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability of adequate and sustainable clean water services for the community. In carrying out its duties, the UPTD SPAM produces and handles various administrative and technical documents, ranging from project planning, financial reports, cooperation contracts, operational data, to documentation of activity results. To date, the process of managing these documents has been carried out manually using conventional archiving systems, such as physical recording, storage on shelves or filing cabinets, and distribution of documents through print media. This method is not only time-consuming and costly, but also increases the risk of data loss, damage, and duplication. Based on the research that has been conducted, the researcher draws the following conclusions: A web-based archive management information system that is integrated with a database can help avoid typing errors in the data management process.
